Presentatie Catalogue Raisonné Carel de Moor

Wednesday, Feb. 28, the Catalogue Raisonné of the work of Carel de Moor (1655-1783) was presented at Museum De Lakenhal. De Moor was born in Leiden - was a.o. teacher of Gerard Dou , and died in Warmond. What better place than Leiden’s Museum De Lakenhal for a book presentation. An extensive program: welcome by Tanja Elsgeest (director of De Lakenhal), introduction by Janneke van Asperen (curator of Old Masters), presentation by Pamela Fowler (author), lecture by Rudi Ekkart, lecture by Eric Jan Sluijter and lecture by Piet Bakker (author). But all presented fascinating stories with lots of visual material. The first copy went to husband Douglas Fowler.
